On the bluff overlooking the Mackinaw is this easily recognizable old oak that gracefully stretches out towards the river. This giant often receives a great deal of the eyes' and mind's attention, and rightfully so. However, on this spring day, there were these tiny yellow flowers sporadically blooming at the base of this oak. I just had to capture their small but bright beauty against the girth of the textural tree in the background. Enjoy!
