Lowland Blues
Reaching the back lowlands in the height of spring makes me come to a standstill. The amount of Virginia Bluebells that grace the land transfers one into another place, far far away from the cultivated and developed world that surrounds the preserve's perimeter. How lucky to follow a curving trail through this delight of woods, bluebells, and slow flowing creeks. The bluebells run a continuum of color, from magenta base near the foreground to the indigo covering in the background. Click for greater detail and to purchase your Lowland Blues.
