Sky Diamond Mountains

On my first adventure to the Northwest, I was fortunate to be able to explore the Crater Lake area of Oregon. During my early morning drive to get to the national park, my truck seemed like a magnet to the midges around a nearby lake, for they were so plentiful that they sounded as if it was raining. Somehow, my wiper fluid was sufficient enough to let me see a bit and I finally made it to my destination. On my way to the eastern side of Crater Lake, I was struck by this view to the north. I loved how the clouds above were floating across this mountainous landscape. A great way to start the day.
