Barn Tassels

On a nice muggy July day a few years back I was venturing the backroads north on my way to my great-grandmother's house in Towanda, IL. I came upon a scene that I had to photograph, so I pulled over on the side of the road to photograph the lovely "Summer Fields" piece, with its red barn and orange lilies. I created a few additional pieces that July day, and one of them is this one above the corn. I liked how my vantage point allowed the greens and yellows of the narrow corn tassels to lead up to the red barn doors.
