Blue Lookout

I ventured in the early morning to Crater Lake National Park in hopes of taking in some of its treasured beauty. I ventured around the rim well before any other visitors and and set up my camera to create a unique piece. I loved the trees that surrounded the lake and so I thought it only natural to include one on the side of my frame, with its shadows creating a bearing for the viewer. I loved how this tree's vantage point overlooked the blue waters of the lake as the high clouds drifted across the Cascade Range. A beautiful and peaceful morning indeed!
