Fall
I spent a good portion of the afternoon on this particular day walking the trails of the wooded preserve. I noticed that the clouds were starting to build and that soon the light could mostly consist of shadows. I had parked in the north gate of the preserve so I had to walk back through the savanna. On my way out I noticed this image beginning to formulate from my observations ahead. So, I set up my tripod and waited for a break in the clouds for the above piece. I just love how dramatic it is with the mostly barren tree standing strong, the vibrant grass being blown below, and the stark clouds of fall high above.
Fall is the 92nd creation in Local Sanctuary.
