Aura
Walking back thru the north side of the preserve to get to my truck, I began to take note of the falling light and the changing color of the skies all around. There were no clouds overhead but there were a few in the horizon towards the setting sun. I quickly positioned my tripod in front of this snow-covered fallen log and this wise old tree rising above as a silhouette. There was a feel about this place that captured me, with the layers of snow on the tree, the silhouettes, and the colors of the clouds in the distance.
