Chilly Creek

Adding to the high flow of the Mackinaw are little creeks of freshly melted snow. Although the creeks may seem miniscule on their own, combined they create a powerful force. The tiny creek in this photograph is flowing away from the bottom entry point and it quickly disappears around a snow puffed bend. I love the snow that has been bombarded against the trees contrasted against the barren bark that was protected from the snow.

Chilly Creek is the 15th photograph from Local Sanctuary.
