Winter Walk
I love walking the path on the high bank overlooking the Mackinaw River no matter the season. The mature trees sit high on the bluff and seem to have grown large and content with their view. In this creation, the flowing river below can be seen with a beaver dam in it, the autumnal leaves still clinging to a few trees give more color to the snowy air, and the absence of the crunching of snow on the trail will make you stand there for minutes on in, wanting to hold on to this experience for greater duration of time than can be had.
