The Unbeaten Path

Venturing the trails during a snowstorm means that an encounter with others is minimal (quite unfortunate as the falling of snow can be graceful and calming.) However, the trails that are often beaten during fairer weather quietly lay dormant. I like to think about that. How a path can be created and followed for a long time until it is well worn. Then, thru the passage of time or from difficulty of keeping to the trail, it fades away, waiting to be trodden again by another. The path is not often taken but there are definitely markings and guides from those who have come before.
