Previous Post - Towering Power & Decatur's Arts in Central Park
The past few years has brought the spurt of many wind-farms to the Midwest. This past winter I went back to the Twin Grove Wind Farm east of Normal/Bloomington, and was struck by this farm that is dwarfed by the giant wind turbine that is within is proximity. Although the turbine is towering, it perhaps is just a little further down the generational line of the antiquated and blade-less windmill that sits amid the barns on the right of this farm. It is an addition as the American farm continues to grow with modern times that provides a further crop as the fields around lay fallow.
I also received a notification today from Decatur, Illinois that I will be participating in their Arts in Central Park on September 18th-20th.
