Abuzz
With spring and summer came the many insects that buzz around the preserve. I happened to catch this little one flying from tiny flower to tiny flower and decided to manually photograph him with my modified macro photography approach. I love how you can see its wings ready to fly again against the black background. And the soft white petals and yellow landing pad, how great of a world for a day's flight.
