After examining the flower details of the thistle from a macro perspective in
Muted Beauty, I wanted to observe the thistle from further away. From farther away, the thistle is all about points. From the pointed leaves, to the points on the cone, and even to the upward points of the flower, the thistle is full of sharpness and difficulty despite its delicate top.
