Rooted Bluebells
While walking the trail next to the creek in the bluebell filled lowland, I came across this tree that wasn't afraid to show its underside. I love the roots of the tree in the right of the middle of this piece. The roots have been exposed from the flooding of this bottom land area, and they show their bulk and reach that is needed to support the rest of the tree, even if it does look a little chaotic.
