Faux Summer Raindrops
Summer came into full effect and the amount of greenery swelled to full capacity. The insects filled the hot air and the ground. The grasshoppers leaped from leaf to leaf as a traveler walks by on the trail. With eyes closed, the landings of the grasshoppers sound as if raindrops are arriving from their fall. It is a beautiful, unexpected sound of summer in the preserve.
