Solo Journey

Coming back to the tree in Yellow Tufts, I found this setup captivating. There in the middle of this bark removed trunk was this lady bug slowly climbing upward. So many metaphors of life came to my mind that I had to capture this creation. The hard texture of the failing bark, the splits running parallel with the trunk, and the large "crater" in the upper left can all present challenges to the lone bug left in color near the center. Journey well little bug, journey well.
