Quiet Gatherings
I never thought that I would be one to photograph many flowers but as Local Sanctuary unfolds it is evident that they bring a great sense of fragility, peacefulness, and life to the world. These violet groupings were a welcome joy on this overwhelmingly green day. Not only do I like the groupings of flowers in this piece, but I like how the leaves below the flowers look like a sort of wing for the plant, carrying it through this time and place. I hope you like Quiet Gatherings and feel free to click here to see it greater detail and find other works by Dylan.
Quiet Gatherings is the 61st creation in Local Sanctuary.
Hmmmm....woodland geranium? If I had to guess, I would say Geranium sylvaticum...Lovely, really.
ReplyDeleteI think you are my plant identification specialist and because of your comments, I have learned a bit more about the world around us.
