Legacy
At first, this creation makes me kind of sad. The bulk of this tree has been felled and put in a state to be despaired. However, possibility and life have taken over, creating a sense of hope. So although the once bountiful top of the tree is gone, a strong root system and tenacity have allowed fresh growth to start. This new life, left in green, is a step to overcoming an horrific event of the past. If given enough time, perhaps it can reclaim a large part of its former glory or create a new legacy. Never give up.
