Raised Branches
I captured this photograph as I was walking the northern trail of the Merwin Preserve. I like how the trunk of the foreground tree is topped with snow while the branches on the left rise up. It's as if the two branches that are left in color are like two arms being lifted to stretch after a good winter's nap.
