Out of Shell

With the snow gone, the trails became clear and the grass began to liven. I saw this half shell lying on the trail next to these few blades of grass. I naturally had to stop and lie down for this picture. I love how you can see where the seed was in the casing of the foreground while way off in the distance there is the blurry silhouette of a large tree that would have started from a similar missing seed.
