Spring Greeting

What first caught me for setting up this photograph was the tree in the foreground on the right. I loved it's bend near the base of the trunk and the roots shooting down like legs and feet. As I began to frame it in the camera, I also took note of the  paw paw tree bending in from the left, mimicking the form of the larger tree that first caught my eye. And so I decided to keep the colors of the smaller paw paw, with its vibrant greens and sun cast bark, to offset the rougher texture in the first tree. And the ground is spotted with thousands of spring beauties and bluebells as you look through the woods. Enjoy! Click here to buy your own Spring Greeting!

Spring Greeting is the 49th work in Local Sanctuary.
