Vertical Tangent
This piece is a little abstract, with the vertical trunks in the background and the subtle color left in the pine in the foreground. To me, this front tree stuck out against the other pines because of the nearly vertical branch that slowly forms upward and out of the main trunk (on the left side of the trunk.) I also love the warmth on the illuminated left side of the pine contrasted with the coolness on the shadow side.
