Assemblage
I honestly don't know much about which species of plant is which, but I am still drawn to this world regardless. I sat down one afternoon and watched these thistles (?) blow in the wind. They seemed to gather in a noble group, as their proud prickly heads sway back and forth, having survived another brutal winter. Now dry and basking in the sun, they anticipate and discuss the growth of the quickening spring.
Assemblage is the 35th work in Local Sanctuary.
