Crossing Paths

The green of spring became more and more abundant. These magenta vines crisscrossed each other as they carried with them these little tufts of freshly sprouted leaves. Their x seems both planned and graceful. And this intersection happening on the side of a large fallen tree, whose now horizontal layers give the idea of a texture or formation of distinguishable layers of sediment over time. What do you think?

Crossing Paths is the 45th work in Local Sanctuary.
